What is Marco Polo Selections?
Hi! We are Nate and Emily. We have been friends for a LONG time and decided to start this wine adventure in October 2020. Along with Jeff (our IT guru) and our incredibly supportive spouses, we have opened a wine shop and tasting room in Kansas City.
What makes Marco Polo Selections different?
- We are a wine shop. However, what makes us different is our selections. We hand-picked our wines which allows us to only sell unique and rare varietals. We sell mostly international, small batch wines from small family-owned vineyards. You can not find most of these wines anywhere else in the United States. The majority of our wines are priced at $40 and under. We truly believe that good wine does not have to be expensive.
- We are also a tasting room. Nate hand-picks 9 wines for our tasting wall each week. You can reserve a table and we will walk you and your party through 4 wines of your choice. We are casual around here. Wine can be intimidating. We want to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable to try new things. Wine is best enjoyed with people you love.
