Mencia is a grape that is underappreciated and comes from the wonderful Bierzo region of Spain. This offering is owned by the Perez family who has owned and operated the winery since 1752. Mencia has a close relationship with Cab Franc, which is a personal favorite around here, so it's no surprise this is one of our favorites.
