Founded in 1958, Diren has focused on the indigenous varietals of Turkey. The Kalecik Karasi has a lightly tannic structure with lots of juicy, fruit flavors in a round and velvety mouth. It is well balanced, with an elegant, lengthy finish. The 2014 Kalecik Karasi was chosen as "Wine of the Year" by the Sommelier Wine Awards.
This special prestige wine has the color of a ruby stone, is rich, well-balanced, and has a lasting and aroma of red fruit, vanilla, and cocoa. It has a light, fresh, and elegant finish.
