We love Beaujolais here at MPS and this Fleurie wine is no exception! This region of Beaujolais is known for producing fruity, floral, and delicate wines (I mean, Fleurie does mean 'flowery') - in fact it has the nickname the 'ballerina of Beaujolais.' We love that this particular wine sees some neutral oak, which gives it a bit more of a rustic edge, and imparts a bit of oak without overpowering the juicy, fruity, drinkability of the wine.

Similar to other Gamays or Pinots, it's light enough that it pairs well with a wide variety of food - from charcuterie and soft cheeses, to grilled veggies, roast chicken, salmon, even pasta!
