You know this is our namesake right? We love this wine, not because of just the name and the label, but because the juice is amazing.
Domini Veneti Appassimento has spiced aromas with notes of vanilla and cherry that support a full-bodied and round palate with soft tannins followed by a long finish with spicy notes. Appassimento refers to the process of drying grapes to make wine. Grapes are dried for a period of at least a couple of months and often as many as six, before being pressed. Since partially dried grapes have a higher concentration of sugars, this system is often used to make sweet or very concentrated wines.
